What is TLEPN?
The Texas Law Enforcement Peer Network (TLEPN) is a state-backed, peer-led network that connects Texas Law Enforcement / Jailers / Telecommunicators with confidential support from trained Peers who understand the job and its pressures. By helping frontline personnel manage stress, trauma, and burnout before crisis hits, TLEPN strengthens the health of our ranks, stabilizes our agencies, and increases the safety of our communities across Texas.
Peers Helping Peers - each Peer is a volunteer for TLEPN and receives subject matter expert designed and TCOLE approved training along with follow-on skill development.
The Lone Star Readiness Mobile App - connects you with Resources, Self-Assessments, and Peers to provide those necessary conversations when you need it most.
Completely Anonymous – anonymous login ensures everyone can share their experiences, needs, and concerns without fear or negative consequences. Anonymity and Confidentiality are assured through Texas Legislation prohibiting the sharing or use of information as an action against a licensee.
Independent of any Department – TLEPN is operated by UNT Dallas and is not in any reporting structure for any police department or agency.
Access - we recommend all Officers, Jailers, and Dispatcher download the app before it is ever needed. Scan the QR code below and visit https://tcledds.tcole.texas.gov/IAM/Identity/Account/Login for the anonymous login information.
